So, I haven't had my car since around May...maybe June . I thought something was wrong with my engine. It was going to cost me $150 just to have someone look at it and if it was the engine it wouldn't be worth it to me to fix. I finally found someone I could trust and it ended up being my pulley belt busted. The part was $160 and labor was $40. I am so happy it was an easy fix. I had to get my tags renewed since they were due back in July but I didn't have penalties since I de-insured my car when I wasn't driving it. I renewed my insurance now though and I am back on the road! It's kind of like I have my independence back. I am blessed that my sister's schedule worked out with mine and she would let me use her car. She's awesome.

In other news...two weekends ago my wrist was hurting. Everyone thought I fell when I was in Scottsdale but I didn't. I don't have carpal tunnel... it wouldn't just start hurting really bad in one day. Anyway, it's hard not to use it at work so I'm sure that didn't help out much. At my work, we have a regular who is an orthopedic surgeon and I got his advice and he said my tendon is swollen. He told me if it was still hurt by this week, he'd give me a cortisone shot in my wrist. Well, it was still hurting so I went this morning and got the shot. It wasn't as painful as everyone made it out to be. Now my hand feels like it's asleep, the pain isn't as bad now but he said it's going to hurt pretty fierce tonight. Luckily, I didn't have to pay for the shots -AND- x rays because I don't have insurance at the moment.

Other than that, not much new with me. I also just got over a cold. Oh and the other day, I sliced my finger cutting lemons. Looks pretty gross, it's alot better now but people told me I probably should have gotten stitched up. It cut off some of my fingernail too
